E-Mail Trends in the Education Market
Over the past five years, MDR has seen more and more companies that sell products and services to educational institutions add email marketing to their marketing mix. The availability of institution-based email addresses has opened up this marketing channel, and marketers are seeing the benefits.
Since 2001 MDR has provided educational marketers with two ways to email educators: appending email addresses to their customer list and providing lists for email prospecting campaigns. The data contained in this report is a result of an analysis of both of these uses. In addition, MDR conducted an online survey to more than 36,000 teachers to ask them specific questions about their views of receiving emails in their school in-boxes.
This report reviews aggregated results from thousands of campaigns and provides specific key findings, conclusions, and actionable recommendations to help execute highly successful email marketing programs.
